• Your API Keys: When you enter your API key (e.g., for OpenAI, Anthropic), it is stored locally in your browser's local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers.
• Your Chat History: The text you type and the AI responses you receive are processed in real-time on your device. We do not save these logs.
• Your Identity: We do not require email registration or account creation to use the core features.

2. Information We DO Collect

We may collect minimal, non-personal data for the purpose of maintaining service stability and security:

• Usage Analytics: We may track anonymous metrics such as page views, feature usage frequency, and error rates to improve the animation engine. This data is not linked to your identity or your chat content.
• Device Information: Basic technical information (browser type, operating system) required to render the 3D/2D animations correctly.

3. How Your Data Flows

Understanding where your data goes helps you trust our process:

1. Input: You type a message in Nojam.
2. Local Processing: Nojam takes this text and sends it directly from your browser to the AI Provider (e.g., OpenAI) using your API key.
3. Response: The AI Provider sends the text response back to your browser.
4. Animation: Nojam’s local engine converts that text into an animation. This happens entirely in your browser tab.

4. Third-Party Services

Nojam relies on third-party AI providers to generate the intelligence behind the avatars. By using Nojam, you acknowledge that:

• You are directly interacting with these third-party services.
• Their own Privacy Policies and Terms of Service apply to the data you send them (your API key and your prompts).
• Nojam is not responsible for how these third parties handle the data once it leaves your device.

5. Security

While we use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) to protect data in transit, please remember that because your API keys are stored locally on your device, the security of those keys depends on the security of your specific device and browser.

6. Children's Privacy

Nojam is not intended for children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
